"Kingdom Agenda" - (pt. #1)

Food for thought: Wealth with God vs. Wealth without God.

The fear that most people have in fully committing their lives to Christ and his kingdom is that they will lose out on the good and finer things in this life. Because of the overwhelming amount of people who have possessed great riches, dined in fine style, dressed in covetous wears, drives expensive high end cars, lived in wealthy mansions, flashed in the spotlight of fame, lived promiscuous lives, without committing their lives to Christ. Then, those who look at them with envy will start to believe this is the only way to really live life, and some time after satisfying one's self, then, one can give their life to Christ. This sounds like a good plan, but there is not one good plan without God! Because God is good! And there is nothing good without God! We are being deceived by Satan to think that serving God will cause us to lose, but serving the devil and sin will cause us to gain! Because God knows all we need (Matthew 6:30-34) and has made provision for us to enjoy all things (Mark 10:28-31). Jesus said, "The thief (Satan) comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I am come that you might have life, and have life more abundantly." - (John 10:10). Now, it's only logical to reason that the reason that Jesus wants us to seek the Kingdom of God and all his righteousness first is because there is a thief (Satan) out there who is waiting to steal, kill and destroy us and all we possess, and the only way to secure this kind of life without losing our souls in the process is to seek first GOD's rulership in our lives (His Kingdom) and believe/obey his Word/Christ (his righteousness) and all these possessions will be appropriately added to our lives with God's blessings that Satan cannot kill steal or destroy (Matthew 6:19-21).

When we don't put first things first, we put ourselves right into Satan's hands and push away God from furnishing us in his true benefits (Psalms 103:1-6). For God is not the author of confusion! (1Corinthians 14:33). When we stubbornly choose to put other things before God, the devil knows that we are idolaters and he knows idolaters are subject to him and doomed to his fate. Listen to Paul's counsel to Timothy, his spiritual son in the gospel, (King James Version_1 Timothy 6:6-10) - "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Then, listen to Jesus' teaching to his disciples,King James Version Matthew 6:24-34 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
